How to Use Your Sanyo MCD-ZX100F CD Portable Radio Cassette Recorder

Power Supply
You can power your Sanyo MCD-ZX100F CD Portable Radio Cassette Recorder using either batteries or AC power. To use batteries, open the battery compartment on the back of the unit and insert eight size D batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings. To use AC power, plug the supplied AC cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the unit and into a wall outlet. Make sure to unplug the AC cord when using batteries to avoid battery drain.
General Operation

Radio Reception
To listen to the radio, slide the FUNCTION switch to RADIO and select AM or FM using the BAND switch. Turn the TUNING control knob to tune in to your desired station. You can use the following features to improve the radio reception:
FM ANT: Extend or adjust the telescopic antenna for better FM reception.
AM ANT: Rotate the unit for better AM reception.
Tape Playback
To play a cassette tape, slide the FUNCTION switch to TAPE and open the cassette compartment by pressing the EJECT button. Insert a cassette tape with the exposed tape facing down and close the cassette compartment. Press the PLAY button to start playback. You can use the following buttons to control the tape playback:
PLAY: Press to start playback.
STOP/EJECT: Press to stop playback or eject the tape.
REWIND: Press to rewind the tape.
FAST FORWARD: Press to fast forward the tape.
PAUSE: Press to pause or resume playback.
Maintenance
